There are four oceans in the world:
The Pacific Ocean: It s the biggest of the planet and goes from the oriental costes of Asia to the occidental coasts of America. It has an abyssal plain in the central part and an ocean ridge that are importants characterístics from that ocean. It has got 165.200.000 km2 from area.
The Indic Ocean: It goes from the orientals costes from Africa to the south of Asia, Australia and the Antartic. It's the hottest and the one with most salinity.
The Atlantic Ocean: It goes from Europe and Africa in its oriental riverside to America in the occidental. Its most important characteristic is the biggest Atlantic dorsal.
The Arctic Ocean: That is an especial one. Somebody considerate it a widening from the Atlantic ocean, althoug it is in contact with the Pacific too. During all the year it is protected from a big icecap by the atmosferics influences.
